Comments: It has come to our attention that KW6USA may be under the misapprehension that he is exempt from regulatory compliance. To clarify, malicious interference with any station, for any reason, constitutes a violation of FCC Regulation 97.101(d), regardless of whether the individual has permission to use a specific repeater. Multiple violations committed by Mr. Chris Jones over the past weekend have been documented and formally reported to the FCC. In accordance with proper repeater management practices, control operators are expected to take appropriate measures, including managing repeater input, to prevent unauthorized or disruptive operators from accessing the repeater system. Furthermore, should any operators violate FCC regulations while utilizing the 147.450 MHz repeater, Mr. Jones will be held accountable as the responsible party for maintaining compliance. By knowingly allowing such violations to occur—under the guise of what he refers to as a “show”—Mr. Jones is facilitating regulatory infractions. Additionally, formal complaints have been filed with the FCC against TASMA and KW6USA regarding alleged frequency monopolization. Mr. Jones has allegedly influenced TASMA to improperly grant repeater coordination at locations where no operational repeater exists. A formal demand has been submitted to TASMA for the removal of these excessive and improperly assigned frequency coordinations. Failure to address these matters may result in further regulatory actions.

Comments: It has been observed that Steven Hoffman (N6ZKZ) has repeatedly used on-air communications over the past several weeks to discuss his intent to file additional frivolous lawsuits against amateur radio operators whom he has allegedly targeted. In response, counter-suits and restraining orders will be pursued against Mr. Hoffman. Law enforcement authorities have been notified, and police reports have been filed concerning violations of California Penal Code § 653m (harassment via electronic communication). Furthermore, KW6USA and the former repeater owner known as KD6JTD, will be implicated in connection with Mr. Hoffman’s activities. It has been documented that USA and JTD knowingly and willingly provided Mr. Hoffman with a platform to engage in doxing, electronic harassment, and other unlawful activities. Additionally, USA and JTD provided technical assistance to Mr. Hoffman to facilitate these actions on their behalf. A record of emails and text messages between Christopher Jones, Steven Hoffman, and other individuals has been compiled as evidence indicating that KW6USA has collaborated with Mr. Hoffman and encouraged his participation in these activities. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has been receiving ongoing complaints regarding the conduct of both KW6USA and N6ZKZ, and such complaints will continue to be submitted until appropriate enforcement action is taken.
