If Roger Bly cared about the repeater he’d focus on efforts to find the “fuck the handicapped” jammer. I have received intel that certain groups have reached out to Roger Bly offering help to track down the nefarious signals, and were turned down. TURNED DOWN! Are you kidding me? If Roger really cared, he’d allow these groups to help.
Comments: I would like to add my two cents into the conversation concerning Steve Hoffman N6ZKZ. I am in complete agreement with the individual who said that Steve N6ZKZ is the last dissident on 435. Hoffman's no holes barred in your face operating style is a breath a fresh air. The 435 machine was once a lively and entertaining machine to listen to. Of course the passing of Henry Stange took away a lot of great content from the shows we would all enjoy. For many months now the 435 is rather moribund. The listeners on Broadcastify are condemned to hearing about how "smart" and wonderful mangled Mike (OG) is. Let us not forget to mention that we now longer can listen to Beagle and the Martards. In short, the 435 is suffering from a lack of on air talent. Give Steve Hoffman his own private input to the machine. Roger you also need to drastically cut back on negative mangled Mike McGougan's airtime. The Broadcastify listenership is very tired of hearing KE6OG run his cocksucker all day and night on the machine. Start giving some of the new talent an opportunity Roger. Put a muzzle on mangled Mike. Give Pat Sullivan a chance to talk so that we can enjoy hearing everyone tear into him. Shut mangled Mike up!!!! Comments: Roger should drop to his knees every morning and pray that Steve Hoffman is still out on 435. Whether you love him or hate him, nobody can deny the fact that without ZKZ on the air, 435 would sound pretty much like most other repeaters out there...dead with zero listeners. Roger has turned 435 into an echo chamber with pretty much everyone agreeing with each other about what's in the vape pen. If you substituted the word "marijuana" for the word "gout," 435 would sound just like Catalina, or Clara, or basically every other machine where old farts come to waft in their own vapors. With all the talent either banned or simply discouraged by the limited conversations one can have without being threatened with a lawsuit or local/federal prosecution, it is no wonder why you hear the same 4-5 people out there and nothing else. Without the opposition/shenanigans ZKZ brings, there is basically nothing worth listening to on 435 anymore. What truly perplexes me is the fact that when Roger and the Pragers turn off the repeater on weekend nights because of ZKZ, they dip into the archives and play nothing but DVR's of ZKZ for the remainder of the night. Virtue-Signal much, Roger? Even DVR's from just a handful of years ago will prove just how busy the machine was compared to now. It all leaves me slack-jawed at how hypocritical the control ops are, proving once again that ZKZ, 435's last dissident, is still able to bring a show even when nobody is allowed to talk.
Comments: It seems I am such a threat to Sparc and the misfit 435 user base that I am forced to take reciprocal harassment action. I have donated $200 to _someone_ who bought a large box of Baofeng radios for only $300. That's cheap. These radios may be "lost" in the Sparc repeater coverage area. Because BB never apologized to me and because my info keeps being posted, even MORE radios may be "lost". Two hundred or more could be "lost" all over Southern California with a little solar cell on them to keep them charged up. I can see all sorts of possibilities; lock them down and making a whoop-whoop noise out in a field somewhere. Oh yeah, that'd be a good t-hunt.
