Comments: "the Hildebrand Supreme Court decision states that profanity is allowed in the amateur service" The Hildebrand case was not a Supreme Court case. It was entirely an FCC Administrative Law case subject to review by the full Commission. The final decision DID NOT state that profanity is allowed in the amateur service. Profanity in, "fleeting instances" had generally not been actionable prior to the "Golden Globes Order", but was the Commission was, is, and will probably continue to be inconsistent on enforcement. They've held off on aggressive enforcement of profanity even post-Golden Globes since then due to a couple of legal challenges, most notably "FCC vs Fox", but, in general, still don't take action on, "profanity", understood to mean the so-called 7 words you can't say, particularly the F word, by itself in the amateur service even when it's not a fleeting use. No one would ever consider the use of the F word on 435 to be, "fleeting", regardless of who is using it, and there are much more clearly obscene and indecent comments made almost every hour of every day. https://transition.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/obscene.pdf
Comments: Good on whoever reported jackass W6OF to the FCC. Unfortunately nothing will probably come of it. Get something straight W6OF the Hildebrand Supreme Court decision states that profanity is allowed in the amateur service, not jamming. You're an obnoxious jammer who routinely steps on stations whenever they say/do something you don't like. It's not your job to be the self-appointed 435 hall monitor, cocksuck!

Comments: WTF??
Comments: This is Richard Bebout, KA6JMM and I can't believe Cliff Wallace stabbed me in the back and put the Elsinore Peak repeater up for sale!! So ungrateful!! I spend countless hours in my darkened trailer monitoring the repeater, making recordings and scribbling notes. I know that in the last 6 months my radio fleas have been making life miserable on the repeater and I have yet to catch any of them. Cliff should have been more patient but he'll find out karma has a way of getting backstabbers when they least expect it. There is always plenty of collateral damage to take care of injustive like this and whoever buys the repeater may get some too. R.A.B. KA6JMM
Comments: W6CDW REPEATERS FOR SALE First in line is Jon, KF6PHX, SPARC System I built the repeater system when I lived in the area and wanted to provide a service to the community. However I have relocated to Texas and my wife’s health issues demand all of my time and energy. Remote management of a repeater is difficult and costly when relying upon contractors and local hams who just cannot deliver. What is needed is a technically capable group that will provide the best care. The repeater has dual UHF and VHF pairs which are shared and continued coordination is dependent on avoiding interference. The ICOM repeaters share a rack and are located on Elsinore Peak – VHF 144.895 + PL 156.7 UHF 445.620 - PL173.8 Latitude: 33-36-8.56 Longitude: 117-20-38.94 Elevation: 3,504 Feet AMSL FCC Tower A0418520 Address: 35603 Main Divide Truck Trail; Forest Service Site #4 (not for mail) City: near Lake Elsinore, CA County: Riverside Airport: Skylark Airport, 3.5 miles NE Tower #2: 120’ self-supporting tower, width of 26’ base and 12’ at the top Power: SC Edison 120/240 Single Phase, 400 amp main panel with stand-by generator. Phone: Verizon & Time-Warner have fiber facilities in the building Location: 6 miles South of Hwy. 74, on South Main Divide Land owner: USDA, Forest Service APN: 382-090-004 Landlord Contact: Elsinore Peak Facility Corp., Fred W Daniel (949) 640-8899, or Terri Buchmiller (949) 212-1021 Post Office Box 9227, Newport Beach, CA 92658 Tower is the North #2 structure in the construction photo
The VHF antenna is located high on the north tower and is an Arrow brand CR-146 with specs at http://www.arrowantennas.com/solid/cr4501.html. I highly recommend keeping this antenna to mitigate interference to the Palos Verdes repeater that shares the frequency pair. It is relatively new and was installed on 08/14/16. We also have a backup omni antenna, a tri band Comet CX-333.
