Comments: Is SPARC going to treat 435 as an avenue to act like Gods of Ham Radio? Will a prorocol of roles, rules, and responsibilities be made public for all to see? Many of us may just go silent on 435 because bias may be applied to some users with no rhyme or reason attached. I am sure the 435 user base will die on the vine and become another minimal traffic repeater.

Comments: For those that are interested in some of the changes we are going to implement with our purchase of the 435 repeater, we have been asked about the status of Tommy praeger as a control op on our system. Since we have received multiple concerned request we are placing our official response here for a record. Tommy praeger will NOT be given a voip input or be connected at all as a control operator for the new 435. As a matter of fact some SPARC members view his attitude and abrasive personality as someone on a probationary trial. This means if he continues to be abrasive to the user base he will not talk on the new 435. Tammy has a neutral rating. We suggest Tommy behave like Simone another ham radio operator on our system which can carry on fruitful conversations without arguements or drama. Simone is also vision impaired so Tommy cannot use this as an excuse. SPARC

To whomever posted the response regarding Boyles, Bebout, et al, thank you for the information! Long and short, it seems Roger has different standards for different people. Some people can drop peoples' names, business license #s, phone numbers and other docs while grossly defaming them and threatening to murder them in the desert with no consequence at all while some get banned for, "taking it off the air" by harmlessly driving by someone's house. So, wouldn't T-hunting then be, "taking it off the air"? I can wait on an answer from Woger... I'm sure he's busy with his morning Azan. |
